Brad Smith

Mr. Smith is  beginning his 22nd year as a band director and his 14th year as Director of Bands at Wester Middle School.  Bands under his direction have been consistent Sweepstakes Award Winners at UIL Concert and Sightreading contest and have earned Best in Class and Outstanding Ensemble Awards at local festivals as well.  Mr. Smith is in demand as a clinician and a judge through out the region.  Mr. Smith's professional affiliations are TMEA, TMAA, and TBA.

Mr. Smith's responsibilities include teaching the Wind Ensemble, the Concert Band, and all beginning Brass Classes.

Allison Jadvani

Mrs. Allison Jadvani is the Assistant Director of Bands at Wester Middle School. Her responsibilities include directing the Symphonic Band and teaching the beginning flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon and saxophone classes.
Prior to her appointment at Wester, Mrs. Jadvani was the Director of Bands for grades 4-8 at Pine Crest Preparatory School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Bands under her direction received Superior Ratings both on stage and in sight-reading. Mrs. Jadvani began her teaching career in Indiana where she taught for three years at Clay City Jr/Sr High School and two years at Indian Creek MS/HS. Her marching band at Clay City was a State Finalist at the ISSMA State marching band competition and her concert bands received Division I ratings at the annual ISSMA concert band festival.
Mrs. Jadvani graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. While there, she was a member of the Butler Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Robert Grechesky and studied clarinet with the late Achille Rossi. Her professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Bandmasters Association.
Mrs. Jadvani lives in Frisco with her husband Johnathon and son Charlie. They moved here in July 2017 when her husband accepted the position as percussion director at Liberty High School. She has spent this past year teaching clarinet lessons and subbing in the district and is now very excited to be a part of the Wester Middle School family!
 

Chad Wallace

Mr. Wallace serves as Director of Percussion Studies for the Centennial High School Cluster. He is starting his 7th year of coordinating percussion instruction and events at Centennial High School, Lawler Middle School, and Wester Middle School. Prior to his appointment with the Centennial Band, Mr. Wallace worked in Lewisville ISD, Houston ISD, and Katy ISD. Mr. Wallace’s groups have been both state honor band finalists and state marching band contestants and have also performed at the prestigious National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, IN. Under his direction, the TC Drum Line became the official drum line of the NHL™s Dallas Stars for 2006 and 2007, performing at playoff games, in television commercials, and various Stars promotional events. While in Houston, Mr. Wallace’s West Briar MS percussion ensembles won the U.S. National Grand Championship from Music Showcase Festivals with a perfect score of 100. They were featured on many local news stations and toured the Houston area performing in several select venues.
Mr. Wallace received his B.S. in Music Education from Austin Peay State University where he studied with David Steinquest. While at APSU he arranged and instructed for The Governor€™s Own marching band and played set for the Jazz Band I and the Jazz Combo I. He is an active clinician, adjudicator, and performer throughout Texas and his native Tennessee. He holds professional memberships in the Texas Music Educators Association, Percussive Arts Society, and Phi Mu Alpha. Mr. Wallace is an educational endorser of Evans Drum Heads and Innovative Percussion. Mr. Wallace also writes and arranges percussion arrangements for many high schools and colleges throughout the United States. Mr. Wallace resides in Frisco with his wife Robin, son Logan, and two dogs.

Garrett Tucker

Assistant Percussion Director
Mr. Tucker serves as the Assistant Director of Percussion Studies for the Centennial High School Cluster. He is starting his 1st year as the paraprofessional for percussion instruction at Centennial High School, Wester Middle School, and Lawler Middle School. Prior to his appointment with the Centennial Cluster Mr. Tucker student taught at both Wester Middle School and Centennial High School. Mr. Tucker has also taught at Richardson ISD, Crandall ISD, Garland ISD, and Wylie ISD. Mr. Tucker competed in the Drum Corps International World Championships with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014. He is also associated with the Sherman Symphony, DAAYO, and has performed as an artist for the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC).
Mr. Tucker received his Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of North Texas where he was able to perform with the UNT Symphony Orchestra, 2:00 Steel Band, UNT Percussion Ensemble, Gamelan Ensemble, Afro-Cuban Ensemble, and serve as principal percussionist for the UNT Wind Ensemble. While at UNT he has studied with Mark Ford, Dennis Fisher, Christopher Deane, Nicholas Williams, David Stone, Paul Rennick, Ed Smith, Drew Lang, and Jose Aponte.
Mr. Tucker resides in McKinney, Texas where he enjoys binge watching T.V. shows, eating Tex-Mex, and playing music.
